SOS Fund Drive
Vistoso Hiking Club
In the Spring of 2007, the Vistoso Hiking Club participated in a fund-raising drive, which
was successfully completed on June 7th. Participation in the drive was suggested by
Jack Evert, and carried out by club members, with special help from Larry Wolf.

| The drive raised over $13,000 to restore trials in Sabino Canyon. The Trails, which were severely damaged by flooding in 2006, were restored with help from the non-profit organization, the Friends of Sabino Canyon. Funds were contributed by members of the Hiking Club, with matching from another non-profit, the Sun City Foundation, and a corporate sponsor, Pizza Hut. |
